In a month of derbies at Mestalla and beyond, VCF Femenino join in the trend on Monday, April 22nd, with their own inter-city clash with LUD Femenino.
Ahead of the LaLiga Iberdrola meeting, coaches Carol Miranda (VCF) and Kino García (LUD), gave a press conference on Friday alongside several players.
Miranda said that "I think it's going to be a beautiful spectacle for women's football. We want the fans to be part of this game -which is going to be historic for us- and we will be delighted for them to be here."
This will be the second time that VCF Femenino have played at Mestalla, and the first since April of 2017.
Dubbed "Elles Som Tots", the match takes place at 5pm CEST. Levante UD are currently third in the Liga Iberdrola table, with 54 points, whilst VCF Femenino are eighth with 35. In the first meeting between the two teams this season, the final score was 0-0,
Gio Carreras, Mari Paz Vilas, Carol Férez and Sandra Hernández (VCF) and Levante's Ruth García, Ivana Andrés and Estefanía Banini were also in attendance at the press conference.
